Metl-Span has set-up extensive quality testing laboratories at its panel manufacturing plants. The laboratories are designed to verify that the components we use meet the strictest standards established for production of the finished product.
Quality assurance of the panel components begins in our laboratories where we subject every coil of steel to a comprehensive battery of tests to check for adhesion of the paint, proper cure of the coating, paint thickness and for variances in color. This quality process is intended to assure that the paint finishes supplied on your panels will perform beautifully for many years on your building.
The insulating foam core of the panels for every order is also rigorously checked for proper chemical composition, density and dimensional stability prior to shipping to your project site. These test procedures guarantee superior insulating quality and product consistency.
