We are pleased to announce that Ternium, a publicly traded international steel company, acquired Metl-Span’s parent company, Grupo IMSA, July 26, 2007. Ternium also owns Hylsa, Galvamet America’s parent company. Because of this combining of parent companies, Metl-Span is now operating Galvamet’s production facility in Shelbyville, Indiana.

Management, administration and production employees will continue to function in the Indiana facility as before. Some sales personnel are assuming new duties that will better utilize their talents to improve service of the combined companies. We look forward to our new Indiana team assimilating into Metl-Span’s structure allowing us to improve our service in the upper Midwestern United States.

Metl-Span manufacturer’s representatives are promoting, selling, and servicing all of Galvamet customer’s new order requirements in their respective territories effective September 4, 2007. We have shared each customer’s information with the appropriate representative and we look forward to continuing our relationship with you by providing all of the products and services you expect from Metl-Span. Please continue to contact the Shelbyville, Indiana staff for information pertaining to existing orders and quotations with 30-day effective dates, issued before September 4, 2007.
