Metl-Span commercial and industrial panels serve as walls, ceilings and roofs for commercial and industrial buildings, in new and retrofit construction. ThermalSafe® combines advanced panel design with Metl-Span's sophisticated manufacturing expertise to create a composite panel that achieves one, two and three hour fire resistance ratings under the most demanding conditions. In addition to its fire resistant characteristics, the panel provides good thermal performance and protection from the elements. The unique LockGuard® interlocking side joint further enhances the fire resistant performance of the panel with its tongue and groove engagement of the mineral wool core.

The Metl-Vision windows are specially designed to provide a fully integrated window system within the CF horizontal wall. Availability includes great flexibility of window size, multiple lite configurations and window finish options.

Single-Skin Wall Panels
Metl-Span's line of single-skin panels includes 11 configurations for wall applications. The line consists of the Prestige Series® and the Profile Series. The Prestige Series offers for 12” wide concealed fastener panels with different reveal options and one 16” wide Fluted panel. This series is designed to be installed either vertically or horizontally. The Profile Series includes six models with exposed fasteners.

Manistee High School
Metl-Span Panels Are Smart Choice For New High School Project
Manistee High School in Manistee, MI utilized 17,000 sq. ft. of Metl-Span’s CF-36 polyurethane foam insulated panels in canopy overhangs and soffits to create dramatic accents on its new building. The 2” flat embossed 22 gauge panels are finished in special Patina Green and provide a striking complement to the brick exterior.
The architectural firm on the project was Design Works A/E, Grand Rapids, MI. Dennis Bekken, vice president of Design Works, attributed much of the success of the project to the panel installer, Architectural Glass & Metals, Inc., Byron Center, MI. “AGM provided invaluable assistance in the design and documentation stage,” reports Bekken. “We knew we wanted an insulated panel with structural span capability specifically for the sloping soffit detail. And we were familiar with the Metl-Span product due to our long relationship with Architectural Glass & Metals. It was a perfect application.”
According to Dave Sheasley of AGM, “As an enclosure contractor, we were a natural fit for the project. The Metl-Span panels were ideal for the canopy overhangs, soffits and column covers. This project was obviously high profile in the community and we were delighted to deliver a great looking job that totally achieved the design goals.”
