Metl-Span architectural panels serve as walls and roofs for high-profile applications, in new and retrofit construction. Most panel profiles may be installed either horizontally or vertically with concealed clips and fasteners in the side joint for a beautiful flush appearance.
Metl-Span commercial and industrial panels serve as walls, ceilings and roofs for commercial and industrial buildings, in new and retrofit construction. Metl-Span insulated metal panels can be easily adapted to pre-engineered metal building designs for almost any end-use as walls and roofs, saving material and labor costs. Other end applications include schools, manufacturing facilities, distribution warehouses, equipment maintenance buildings, mechanical penthouses, kiosks, equipment screens, aircraft hangars, prison units and office buildings.
Metl-Span cold storage panels function as walls, ceilings and roofs for cooler, freezer and food processing buildings, in new and retrofit construction. In addition, Metl-Span panels are ideal for dry goods warehouses and other controlled environment buildings where temperature control and insulation values are critical.
ThermalSafe® combines advanced panel design with Metl-Span's sophisticated manufacturing expertise to create a composite panel that achieves one, two and three hour fire resistance ratings under the most demanding conditions. In addition to its fire resistant characteristics, the panel provides good thermal performance and protection from the elements. The unique LockGuard® interlocking side joint further enhances the fire resistant performance of the panel with its tongue and groove engagement of the mineral wool core.
Metl-Span CFR Roof panel is an insulated metal standing seam roof panel and is the foremost innovation in all-in-one composite roof panel design, combining durable interior and exterior faces with Metl-Span's unmatched polyurethane core. ProCLAD Selects Metl-Span Wall Panel System For New Headquarters Building
ProCLAD, Inc. utilized approximately 11,000 sq. ft. of Metl-Span’s CF30 Architectural Flat Wall Panels on its new corporate headquarters in Indianapolis, IN. ProCLAD specializes in metal exteriors for commercial and industrial facilities mainly in the eastern United States. The Metl-Span panels are finished in Cool Metallic Silver and Tahoe Blue and accented with flowing horizontal reveals.
The 15,000 sq. ft. building also incorporates Metl-Span’s new Metl-Vision™ Window System that features a flush frame design that fully integrates with the popular Metl-Span CF horizontal wall panel. The system accommodates window heights matching the standard wall panel widths of 24”, 30” and 36” or custom widths as required. Window width is virtually unlimited using spliced head and sill members in combination with intermediate vertical and horizontal mullins.
“We were involved in the development of the window system,” says President/CEO Brad Hitzfield. “ProCLAD is a long-time customer of Metl-Span and we have an excellent working relationship with them. Metl-Span has always been willing to listen to the needs of our customers and then develop a sound product that meets their needs. Metl-Vision is a great example of dedication to continued product development and refinement.”
Development of the new system was directed by Jay Smith, Metl-Span Director of Sales. “Architects prefer to design using integrated window systems instead of drop-ins or punching out panels,” says Smith. “We worked closely with Moduline and ProCLAD to create a system that performs extremely well with our CF horizontal panels. The finished assembly eliminates interface problems common with standard windows.”

Hitzfield is naturally quite proud of the new structure. “Our own building provides a good example of what ProCLAD can offer its customers,” he says. “The building is very efficient from an energy standpoint with the R-16 factory insulated panel assembly. The build design also integrated the reveals from the composite metal panels, Metl-Span’s horizontal insulated panels and window system. The reveals continue uninterrupted around the building. The panels are folded around the corners with no exposed fasteners. It’s a crisp, clean look.”
Metl-Span pioneered many of the developments of insulated metal panels and continues to make significant contributions to design innovations and technology that shape industry standards. For more information on the complete line of Metl-Span products, call 877-585-9969 or visit www.metlspan.com.
