Metl-Span Panels Selected For Grocery Store Prototype
Brookshire Grocery Company, with more than 150 stores throughout Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi, utilized Metl-Span wall panels as a prototype material on a new store in Emory, Texas.
The project used approximately 13,000 square feet of Metl-Span’s CF Light Mesa polyurethane foam insulated wall panels in Sandstone color. Brookshire’s has traditionally utilized masonry for wall construction on its stores.
The project was completed in April, 2003, “much to everyone’s satisfaction,” according to David Enoch, project manager for Southwest Vault Builders, Dallas, the wall contractor. “The test must have been a success,” says Enoch, “because we’ve just completed a second location using the Metl-Span panels. The insulated, one-piece panel is easy to install and offers great efficiency when it comes to heating and cooling.”
Metl-Span pioneered the development of insulated metal panels and continues to make significant contributions to design innovations and technology that have become industry standards. For more information on the complete line of Metl-Span products, call 877-585-9969 or visit www.metlspan.com.
