Completed Application:

  • Must be the signed original; each individual must complete his or her own application. Application must include the signature of the Owner/Officer of the company.
  • Proof of liability insurance ($250,000 minimum). IMP Installer Certification
  • Proof of worker’s compensation insurance.
  • Actively involved in the installation of metal building products for the three years immediately preceding this agreement. Owner/Officer signature on the application provides this proof.
  • Photos will be taken in class for all Certified Installers.
  • Scanned Copy of Attendee’s Driver’s License or Official Government ID
  • Completed Roofing Resume: Each individual must list five previous metal roofing projects with the following information included: project name, address, contact name and phone number,
  • Completed Payment form. See application for course fees.

Course fees pay for the costs and expenses of the training program only. Lunch will be provided by Metl-Span.  All expenses for travel, transportation and lodging shall be borne by the Applicant or the Applicant’s Employer or Sponsor Company.

* Cancellation notices received three (3) business days prior to class start date are eligible for refund or rescheduling without additional fees. Cancellations inside of three (3) business days are subject to a minimum fee of $50 per individual.

A required minimum of 10 participants must sign up to proceed with each installation class. Should a training course be canceled for any reason, each applicant will have an option of signing up to attend a future class or will receive a refund. Metl-Span will notify you prior to the class should a cancellation occur.
