Metl-Span project in Chicago makes ArchDaily.com Top 100
LEWISVILLE, Texas (July, 2016) – The Godfrey Hotel in Chicago, featuring 60,000 square feet of CFA Architectural Wall Panels from Metl-Span, was recently featured on the ArchDaily.com Top 100 American Architecture Projects.
The list highlights the “100 most visited works of architecture in the U.S., turning them into case studies and references for millions of architects, students and journalists that seek the most important and inspiring works of American architecture.”
Kurt Volkman, AIA, LEED AP BD+C at Valerio Dewalt Train of Chicago, specified the 60,000 square feet of 2-inch thick, 30-inch wide, 22-gauge/26-gauge CFA Architectural Wall Panels in embossed Silver. The Metl-Span panels were installed over stud framing, attached with concealed fasteners in the side joint. All-American Exterior Solutions of Lake Zurich, Ill., completed the install.
